Annual Training Conference

In the Heart of Texas

The Telea Conference is a annual training in which members from across the State come together for four days of training and networking.  Training topics range from basic environmental laws, sampling courses, First Aid and other related topics.


Instructors from various and agencies are brought in to help train and share their knowledge with our members.


The conference is held in Bandera, Tx at the Mayan Dude Ranch. Were our members are treated to home country cooked breakfast, lunch, social hour and dinner.

Project EnCriPT - Sam Houston State University

Project EnCriPT is a training resource for various aspects of environmental enforcement. It is a cooperative agreement between the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas, or LEMIT, a division of Sam Houston State University’s Criminal Justice Center.



Texas Illegal Dumping Resource Center

Dr. John Ockels provides classroom training, publications, resources, and personal experience to the professional as well as the citizen.  John is well known to everyone in the the field of environmental enforcement and is considered both a valuable resource and a friend.
